Yeah, it's like how I remember, only *way* smoggier, and that's not smog -- as a radio announcer said today "That ash falling on your car is PEOPLE'S HOMES, PEOPLE'S DREAMS!" -- obviously trying to get an overwrought made-for-TV movie about these fires greenlighted ...

But yeah, turn off the radio and the TV, and look outside, and it's kind of scary. You don't need anyone with an expensive haircut to make you feel that.

The weather guy this morning mentioned, that the ash will be coming into MN tonight and tomorrow, and that we should expect very dramatic sunsets.

Hearing that I was somewhat torn by being kind of excited to see the colors, but depressed about where they were coming from.
