A strange little "research essay" I wrote for Hobart's annual online baseball issue.
And, more Google results for Edgar Caquill & Cliff Fuzzing.

That was truly amazing... that you swung on 3-0. Probably should have handed in your sannies on the spot.
Nice article... any outtakes?
I also read that the first nine soufflés that Ramos made were splendid and each one following collapsed.

Human Man,
You're right on about Ramos. Real bummer, he showed promise. No outtakes but there should've been. I stopped after three only because four seemed like too much at the time.
And I don't even know how I got to 3-0. They must've pitching around me to get to the guy on deck, yeah, that's it.

Cliff Fuzzing? Bad memories of fixed 8th grade Earl Weaver computer leagues are flooding back into my conciousness. Or am I thinking of someone else? Either way, you're a cheatin' bastard JR.

Yes, you are correct Al. I am not the cheatin' bastard I once was, but I am still as sore a loser ... though it's been a while since I kicked over a TV because my Micro Machine hit a pencil.

Ha, Micromachines! Now there is a far more pleasant memory to come flooding back into my conciousness, thank you! You kicking over the tv was certainly a highlight of my childhood, sorry your tv had to suffer.
Sorry I called you a cheatin' bastard, too. I guess I should be over it after nearly 20 years :) great article, by the way.
