There was some great commentary about this from the CEO of Newsvine.com. Their offices are directly across from the PI, and now employ more people than the paper does...which is a little strange considering that Newsvine only consumes feeds from newspapers (and other media sources i would imagine).

It would seem ironic that the aggregator of content is more profitable than the provider of content, or is it more just a sign of the times.
