In a better than fiction news event, Palin pardons a turkey while other turkeys are being slaughtered immediately behind her. You seriously can't make this stuff up.

The story is one thing but the comments are totally hilarious . . .

Next up is knocking off Coleman (long shot) and Saxby Chambliss (long long shot) ... so close to 60, yet so far.

I'm kinda on board with this line of thinking . . . If you keep making Hummer's knowing they don't sell, why shouldn't you go bankrupt? It's like being the candy company that only makes chocolate nougat as your only flavor . . . Even if it's the best, tastiest nougat you can make, people ain't gonna buy it just cause you're making more of it to sell . . .

I tuned in late to the debate last night, and it didn't sound pretty. McCain making snide, almost non-nonsensical remarks. Hopefully this wasn't the case for the entire debate. Also...who is Joe the Plumber?

If McCain loses any single one of Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, or Florida, it's over. And right now -- for the first time in a long time -- every one of those states is blue.

This really made me chuckle.
