Further evidence why the Internet is the weirdest technology ever. I imagine the original architects of ARPANET sitting around thinking about better ways to communicate, exchange and categorize every useless but endlessly fascinating tidbit on the planet.

Actually I imagine the ARPANET people seeing AOL first come online and say to themselves "There goes the neighborhood."
